Demonstrations and Posters

Coordinators: Alex Sandro Gomes (UFPE) & Daniela Gorski Trevisan (UDESC/UFRGS)

Demonstrations and Posters category intends to create a space for real experience with works that require interaction and/or visual communication, such as software demos, graphic design solutions, digital art installations and research results. Submissions must be anonymous and have up to 2 pages in the ACM format. Submissions should include a description of the tool/project/installation purposes, its potential users, images that help understanding the tool or the graphical design and a list of publications and bibliographical references about the subject. Accepted papers in this category will be published in the conference proceedings and in ACM Digital Library. Authors will share a 45-minute collective presentation during which one of the authors must stay beside his or her work to explain it to participants. The symposium organization will provide a table, electric installation and a surface for hanging the poster. Any other equipment must be arranged by the authors.
